I ran in the Anacortes Half Marathon today, one of the best races in the area. 45 for a race with a tech medal and shirt, it’s not crowded, it’s easy to get to and park, has a start time at 9AM later, is mainly flat and it’s really very organized. My goal was just to ensure I can still run a half in under two hours. I walked a little at many mile makers once I was above pace for 2 hours which is 9:09 minute miles. I picked up the pace at mile 9 and ran the rest out without walking.

I experienced good during the race. Not sure if it can help me meet my 5K goal but it was worth it none the less as I appreciated it. In Sept but I hate I have been flirting with the idea of operating another full marathon, hate, hate training for marathons because of the long runs. I like the marathon itself, not the training that will go along with it just.

  • You Should Get Everything You Need WHEN YOU BEGIN the Diet
  • 4 Ideas for WHOLEGRAIN Oatmeal
  • 1 fillet of Fish (I used freezing Basil Pesto Tilapia from Costco)

Maybe I won’t train and use a run/walk method which I kind of enjoy anyhow. Weekend that I have never done before Next race will be a 5K mud run next. Looks fun at least. It had been on Joint Military Base Fort Lewis. As it was on the military base it’s a slight hassle to get onto the base, which appeared to have limited the individuals, there were 100 I would say in total about. This was good as we didn’t have to hold back in many lines to go through the mud pits. There have been several other hurdles to climb over as well, tires and walls.

It was a good work out, more crawling, and climbing than running but still a blast. This is a true cross-country 5K race. The course is the used for cross country meets by both middle Arlington and schools senior high school. The course is fairly flat however, not fast. There are lots of uneven ground making owning a fast time difficult. Although I didn’t run a great time I find cross-country runs more fun than road races. I used to be planning on run/walking the full marathon but given my insufficient training and the likelihood I’d injured myself attempting it, I decreased down to the fifty percent.

This ended up being a good decision, as although I sensed good operating I am much sorer than I have already been in a while after a half. If I acquired run a full I’d be hobbling around for several days before having the ability to run whatsoever. This Wednesday is the last hill climb race of the entire year.
