For 50 yrs I have already been trying endlessly to lose excess weight. Each diet session comprised of counting calories, cutting out extra-fat, exercising, and struggling to get through each day. Each tiny loss to be celebrated. I had a need to suffer the consequence for allowing myself to get so overweight to begin with. I did so not know some other way to solve the nagging problem, because I did so not know very well what the nagging problem was. When I did so, get to goal weight, whatever it happened to be. It never seemed to ‘gel’ beside me.

I always experienced like an excess fat person still. I had what I’d call a phantom body fat. Just like a shadow it followed me around because I knew as soon as I ended the starvation diet the weight would return. Slowly at first and then I would give up in the strength department and the weight would come hurrying back and bring a little extra too.

I always ended up weighing more after a diet than I did when I began. It got to the real point where I thought why am I bothering. I am just likely to look this way Maybe. My body does not want to reduce its size. Before I had no ongoing health issues from the weight. Then my BP started to go up. A TIA was experienced by me and understood my weight was doing me no favors. So yet another attempt, but that one feels different.

For a start I am consuming more and finding my food more satisfying and for me personally to go 6 hrs without food between lunch and supper is a large break through. Personally I think comfortable that is my weight now. It will continue to reduce but I don’t feel there is any threat of finding I’ve put on 14lbs by tomorrow. My bloodstream glucose is now stable all day long, I understand when I can have food and how much I can have. I am now learning to accept that I am not the failure I thought I was. The failure is at the diets I was attempting and the given information I had received.

The nutritional structure of dietary intake could produce specific results on metabolic factors such as mitochondrial oxidation, whose understanding could contribute to apply more individualized weight-lowering strategies. This research assessed the consequences of four hypocaloric diets with high protein content or different food distribution on metabolic changes and mitochondrial oxidation-associated weight loss. 042). Unlike many video gaming, which critics often bash for turning kids into couch potatoes, DDR demands physical exercise.
